Promotional products for your business promotion
Saturday, April 17th, 2010    Subscribe To Our FeedThese days it is getting more and more difficult for small businesses to get their message across to the competitive marketplace. This is where big brand businesses such as Sony, ASDA, Tescos hold the advantages over small businesses such as your local computer or grocery stores. Especially after Google’s announcement of giving extra care to big brands in regards to SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
So how do small businesses compete with the big brands then? Google might have said they will be giving extra care to big brands but to be honest I haven’t really seen any changes in Google for my recent searches, so not sure what it is all about. I still believe small businesses can compete with the big boys by the help of Google’s very own pay per click toy called Adwords. These tools will certainly give opportunities for small to medium sized businesses that are in competitive market such as promotional clothing, cars, insurance, gambling and many more.
There are many ways in which a company can look to promote their services and products. I will make it simple and put it in two categories - one Online Marketing and another Offline Marketing.
Online Marketing covers Websites, Email Marketing, Pay per click campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and Article Marketing. Offline Marketing covers radio and TV adverts, magazine adverts, newspapers adverts, leaflet advertising, promotional pencils, mugs and t-shirts. These days there is a big hype about Social Media which is another way of promoting your services and products Online. Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious and many more has helped big brands to create their own followings. This works by creating a massive amount of followers who follow their comments and threads under their profiles, so whenever you write a new thread or comment about your current product offers, they will read it. Social Media is performing really well and millions of people are using it so sooner the businesses get into it the better for them.
Businesses that develop {promotional products and~Companies that produces promotional products and~Industries that produces promotional products and} personalised gifts, Social Media is a fantastic opportunity to market their brand name and products as you can target both businesses and individuals.
