Many bloggers believe they don’t need to SEO optimize their blog because they believe Social Media traffic is enough. Failing to bring in targeted traffic is one reason many bloggers stop trying to make money with affiliate programs and find the next scheme to jump into.

But it doesn’t have to be this way. Your blog post could be SEO friendly in just 3 easy steps. By following these easy steps, you can increase browsers to your site and be the difference between a blog that builds its owner very little income or one that a blogger can quit their day job and make a full time living with.

Here are a few simple tips to search engine optimize every blog post you write and start reaping the rewards of free targeted Internet users.

To start with, you should make certain your post addresses are SEO optimized. With many free blog services like Blogger, this is automatically done for you. If you’re a WordPress user, then set your permalinks so that the code produces optimized url’s when you post an article.

All you have to do in WordPress is to click on the Permalinks tab, and check the button along side the Custom field. Then you’ll put a percentage sign followed by the words Postname. {Immediately after the words postname, Now} add another percent symbol. Now all your blog post will have optimized addresses.

The best tip to optimizing your blog is to put your main keyword in the Title. For example, if you’re blogging about earn money easy, then use these keywords in the Title of your blog and your blog post. Don’t put something like Johns Blog. Using the keywords in the Title, then you’ll rank higher than if you name it something totally unrelated.

The next requirement is to put your keywords in your Post’s title. If you’re targeting people to read your post about ebay to make money at home, then your post title should have those keywords in it. Not irrelevant keywords like How I Make Money With Auctions. Doing this prevents the search engine bots from figuring out what your post is about and the search engine traffic you need won’t appear. If you’re using Adsense to monetize your blog, this is a very important tip to get targeted traffic for high paying keywords.
